R&B singer Kenny Lattimore is back with a brand new single from his upcoming album, Back 2Cool, entitled "Find A Way." Back 2 Cool will be released on his new independent label SincereSoul Records and will be the first project from the label. Check out the single and more after the break...
"Grammy-nominated R&B singer Kenny Lattimore is pleased to announce the launch of his own label, SincereSoul Records, having inked a distribution deal with EMI Label Services inconjunction with Capitol Records, who will provide marketing and promotional services for the label. This summer, Kenny Lattimore will release his latest album, Back 2 Cool, on his newly formed label, SincereSoul Records. The lead single off Back 2 Cool, “Find A Way,” will impact radio nationwide in early May 2012.
“I’m thrilled to be launching my own label,” says Kenny Lattimore. “It has been a blessing to find success in this industry as an artist and now, thanks to EMI Label Services, I have found a home for SincereSoul Records. I’m looking forward to having more control creatively as an artist and as a businessman outside the recording studio, where I have the freedom to explore all facets of my experiences and blend them into my music.”
Two years in the making, Back 2 Cool has been Kenny Lattimore’s labor of love. Says Kenny Lattimore of the album, “Back 2 Cool is about relationships getting back to a place of reconciliation—finding a new place of ‘cool.’ The album talks about the struggles being lost in love and finding a new space where you can believe that love still exists. With this album I want people to know that it is ‘cool’ for R&B to go back to its roots and be about love again.”" Source
Looks like a lot of R&B artists are starting their own independent labels which I think is good. It's also good to hear new music from Kenny Lattimore since his divorce from singer Chante Moore. She announced their divorce during the summer of 2011 via Facebook. The couple was married for nine years and are parents to one son.
