Song of the Day: The Jackson 5 "Give Love On Christmas Day"

Originally recorded by The Jackson 5, this holiday classic from their Christmas album is a favorite that can be heard on radios and in stores everywhere during this time of the year. This song has been covered by The Temptations, New Edition, and Johnny Gill. Even though I love their versions too, nothing ever compares to the original.

The official opening of the R&B Hall of Fame Museum was announced last week. They plan to honor artists, producers, and others who have contributed to the genre's success. Best Super Bowl Half-Time Show: Madonna, Prince, or Michael Jackson?

If you were one of the 111.3 million viewers who were tuned into Super Bowl XLVI Sunday night, you saw 53 year-old pop legend, Madonna, perform this year's half-time show. Her grand entrance, complete with sexy muscled gladiators, a black and gold stage, dancers, majorettes and  appearances by some of today's biggest stars (Cee-Lo, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, and MIA) caused many to say that this is one of the best half-time shows they've seen...

WAY BACK WHEN: JACKSON 5 ON SOUL TRAIN

I know many of you are still saddened by the news of Soul Train creator Don Cornelius. So to lighten the mood, here's a throwback video of the Jackson 5 performing their #1 hit "I Want You Back" on Soul Train in 1972. I don't see how you could be considered "uncool" fashion-wise back then. Everyone was sporting psychedelic colors back then. And to keep your hair simple, just fro it out lol. Enjoy!

This picture wasn't dated, but from the looks of it, it seems like it was during the early days of her career. I think my smile would have been just as wide, had I gotten the chance to meet him also lol. Cute!

Breaking News: Conrad Murray Sentenced 4 Years

The Most Hated Man in America right now, Dr. Conrad Murray, was sentenced to four years (the maximum) in prison for the death of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson...

Another "friend" cashing in on Michael Jackson's legacy...

Since the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson's death in 2009 everyone from his siblings, "friends", and employees have been trying to cash in on his legacy. They just refuse to let him rest in peace. Jermaine and LaToya Jackson have already released their books honoring the love of their brother and now a former personal assistant of Michael's, Frank Cascio is releasing a book called My Friend Michael: An Ordinary Friendship with an Extraordinary Man. With the recent conviction of Dr. Conrad Murray for involuntary manslaughter, I guess Cascio decided to release his book while the public's hearts were still high about the news. Oh, and just in time for Christmas sales! How convenient.
